Meet Kauri Sartini — lead hairstylist and founder of Kauri & Co.

There’s a good chance you’re looking at that first name wondering how it’s pronounced… and you’re not alone! (It’s pronounced “Cory”)

Kauri is a distinguished traveling hairstylist, with well over a decade of experience, specializing in on-location weddings, events and photography. Her work has been published numerous times, including a feature in Newport Wedding Magazine. Kauri & Co. was voted "Best of Rhode Island" for wedding hair in 2023 and 2024.

The team consists of experienced hair and makeup artists throughout New England. Beyond their technical skills, the team takes pride in creating an experience that goes beyond hairstyling and makeup artistry. Kauri & Co. brings a level of peace and professionalism to ensure every client feels elegant, confident and supported for their big moments.

While they mainly frequent RI, MA + CT, Kauri & Co. travels both nationally and internationally.

As the first vendors you’ll see on the day of your wedding, Kauri and her team set the tone for the day. They strive to create a calm, joyful environment while you and your tribe get ready. Kauri & Co. values professionalism, punctuality, organization and good vibes!
